NFL State of the Union Previews

It's finally here. Since I haven't been in the U.S, I haven't felt the impact of every Sportscenter dragging out every possible connection to LeBron for information. I haven't heard what John Deere's CEO had to say about whether Favre is coming back or not, but believe you me, I know the strain. Finally, the NFL kicks into action and real sports can take center stage again. That's not a slight to baseball (I'm certainly pro-anything that gets you into a bar for three hours at noon on a Tuesday), or the World Cup (the English are overrated boozers but the games were great), but it's nice to get back to good ol' American football and the fall routine of NCAA Saturdays and NFL Sundays. To celebrate, we'll be posting a new team daily with a general summary of how they're looking heading into the 2010 season. At the end of it all we'll give a few predictions (playoff picks, Super Bowl, the number of reported suicides among Jets fans when people realize they're gonna end up 8-8 after all this hype, etc.) and then settle in to another year of sports. We hope you enjoy it, but if you don't, you can go to hell and choose not to read. Cheers.
