USA Basketball Wins FIBA World Championship

I feel bad for this USA basketball team. After being labeled a "B-team" and dismissed because they didn't have LeBron, Kobe, or Wade, they still had all of the pressure that comes with representing the Stars and Stripes in basketball. All they did in return was dominate and bring home the gold. The reaction? Meh, USA basketball is supposed to dominate. It's our sport so we're supposed to win gold but if they came home with silver everybody would throw a hissy fit. Congrats boys and way to rep the States. Kevin Durant was amazing and showed why his name will be tossed around frequently in MVP talks this season even with King James in his prime and Kobe in his conference. I hope his wheels don't fall off from exhaustion because it would be nice to see him challenge the Lakers in the west.

  1. I'm just saying, a dynamic scorer/dunker on a team with little/no history and was passed up by the Blazers for an injury-plagued big man? Sounds like the second coming of Jordan, cept he's not an ass
